Cutar Fiesta del Monfi
Cutar organizes the Monfi festival every year in October
This colorful festival is an opportunity to recall the moorish origins of the village. The Monfis are moorish rebels who after the reconquest of Andalusia by the Catholic kings refused to pledge allegiance. This village has long been a landmark for these rebels, when others have taken refuge in the Province of Granada, in the Alpujarra . They will be definitively defeated at the end of the 16th century. Cutar be part of the villages of the ruta de la pasa (raisin route) with Almachar , Moclinejo, El Borge and Comares This is the opportunity to live to the rhythm of the traditional, popular, and typical festivities of Axarquia-Costa del Sol .Activities and experiences around Cutar
