Where does the horseback riding on the beach take place?
The ride starts at the Antonio riding centre, just outside Malaga in Torremolinos.
Horseback riding along the sea is possible all year round.
A few words about Antonio and his cortijo
Antonio has been offering horseback riding for 30 years. His riding centre is in a cortijo (farmhouse), 100 metres from the beach, which was built in 1901.
Spanish, English and French are spoken at the centre.
Opening hours of the centre:
- in winter: 09:00 – 20:00
- in summer: 08:00 – 22:00
Bookings for horseback riding should always be made before coming to find out what is available in the morning, afternoon and evening.

The riding centre offers 4 possibilities for horseback riding:
Horseback riding on the beach in a small group
This ride on the beach is open to all types of riders. The duration is 1H30.

Seaside horse riding on full moon evenings
This ride along the seafront is open to all types of riders.
It starts at nightfall and allows you to enjoy the beauty of the moonlight over the sea. The duration is 2H30.
Price: 70€/pers
Important information: this tour is only available on full moon evenings from spring to autumn. So it’s only open 1 or 2 evenings a month. The price includes : a short break with the horses, for a drink in a chiringuito!
Horseback riding on the beach and in a natural park
This excursion lasts about 4 hours, half a day.
This excursion offers a beautiful ride along the sea and through a natural park.
The price is 120€ / person. Lunch is included.
