This magnificent route will introduce you to a typical and beautiful village, a unique vineyard culture and the production of renowned wines.
What happens on this day trip?
This guided tour is available from Torre del Mar, Torrox Costa, Algarrobo and Nerja. This excursion is for semi-private groups (3 to 8 people maximum).
Your guide, Cipriano or Miguel, will pick you up in a Mercedes Vito in the morning from your accommodation to set off on the Wine and Sun Route.

Guided tour of Competa, a beautiful and authentic white village in the Axarquía region
We will discover its authenticity during a walk through its narrow, traditional streets.
This village is extremely beautiful and is one of the best wine producers in the region.
In the village, we will visit a local bodega. We will also discover the local process of making Malaga sweet wine, which has been declared a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System (GIAHS) by UNESCO, and learn about the thousand-year history of these vineyards.
Then we will taste four of the best wines.
One of them, a wonderful muscatel, was served at the wedding of Felipe VI and Letizia. Tapas will be served with the wine tasting.
At the end of the excursion, Cipriano or Miguel will drop you off at your accommodation.
