Where does the snorkeling take place?
This snorkelling activity in Torrox and Nerja is done with a guide. It will take you to the marine sites along the coast. You will be able to observe the different varieties of fish or coral formations. The snorkeling sites are between Torrox, Nerja, Maro and up to La Herradura (see below).
Who can go snorkeling?
This activity can be done with the whole family, with children as young as 7 years old. You need to be able to swim and have the desire to discover the marine coast of the Costa del Sol in beautiful places.

The price is 30€ per person for about 1 hour.

Sara and Marcin both run the diving centre in Torrox, and also offer the possibility to do this snorkeling activity.
How does the activity work?
We’ll meet you in the diving centre or at the foot of your hotel, then take you by van to the snorkelling site you’ll be visiting that day.
Before entering the water, from the beach, the instructor explains how to use the equipment: mask, snorkel, fins.
The instructor may also explain how to breathe easily or how to snorkel. The guide stays by your side during the hour of snorkeling.
You will also learn how to distinguish and see the animals that are camouflaged on the seabed.
After the snorkeling tour, the guide offers a snack with a drink on the beach.
This activity is an opportunity to take home some very nice memories of your stay.

You will be contacted by the instructor to propose the time and place of the meeting (he can pick you up at your place of stay for free, within a 10km radius).

When the sea allows it, it is possible to dive on the site of a shipwreck, El Delfin, in Torrox.
