A big concert will be held on July 17th :
feria de rincon de la victoria 2022 concierto
This feria is in honor of Nuestra Sra del Carmen who is the patron Saint of fishermen. It is celebrated in many towns and villages on the coast.
During the feria in Rincon de la Victoria, there are 2 maritime processions. The maritime processions will take place in Rincon de la Victoria and La Cala del Moral on Saturday 16th July.
The virgin is carried through the city then put on a fishing boat, and “walked” out to sea accompanied by many other fishing boats. Everyone is on the beach, often with candles. And around 11 p.m. or midnight, the procession resumes to bring Ntra Sra del Carmen back to the church.
This is the opportunity to live to the rhythm of the traditional, popular, and typical festivities of Axarquia – Costa del Sol .
