Alcaucin Chestnut Festival 2023

Alcaucin organizes the Chestnut Fiesta every year at the beginning of November

The Fiesta de la castaña in Alcaucin will take place on 4 November 2023.

ATTENTION information of 11/2/2023: the fiesta 2023 is postponed to 5 November because of the weather forecast on 4 November.

The party will start at 1 pm.

Everyone will be invited to taste :

• chestnuts
• sweet potato
• mantecados (biscuits with cinnamon or lemon zest)
• a glass of anisette

From 9.30 pm, a music and dance show will be given.

The Alcaucin Chestnut Festival

is the opportunity to live to the rhythm of the traditional, popular, and typical festivities of Axarquia – Costa del Sol .
